Fuel prices are sky rocketing these days, they say that gasoline will reach $5.00 a gallon this year alone. With unemployment as high as it is, what are people going to do?
Different Ideas!
We need to start right now by saving on fuel. One way is to buy all electric cars, which would ease up on using fuel. But how far can you go on a charge before you have to re-charge. This is a really great alternative for city driving but not the best for highway driving. Another draw back is how long will the battery last before you have to replace them? I know in an RV it is about 3 to 5 years.
Then there is electric/ gas cars. This is a really good idea but what are you going to do while traveling? How are you going to re-charge your batteries? Now you are back using gasoline only, so there again fuel consumption.
What about all hydrogen cars? This is a great way to stop using oil products. But there is a couple of draw backs on this too. Hydrogen is a very explosive product when stored in a tank. Look what happen to our space shuttle. With using all hydrogen there comes building hydrogen storage facilities, just like are gas stations. You cannot build just a few here and there; it has to be a bundle of them. Otherwise can you imagine the waiting lines? Then again somebody has the control of the prices, who knows how high they will get.
HHO KITS
Now comes the hydrogen generator. Also known as hydro kits, hydrogen kits, hydro kit or water for fuel kit. This kit produces hydrogen, oxyhydrogen gas, brown gas or whatever you prefer to call it. This Kit is installed in your vehicle, in the engine compartment, not much bigger than a motorcycle battery and is very safe. I know I just said hydrogen is very explosive, and it is when it is stored in a tank. With the hydro kits you get what you would call on demand hydrogen.
They produce around 3 to 6 liters per minute depending on the size of your rig. They will work on both gas and diesel engines from a small generator to an 18 wheeler. They have also been installed on boats. They will usually increase your mileage anywhere from 25% to 60%.
They are very easy to maintain and only pennies to operate. About every 600 to 800 miles you have to add about a cup full of distilled water and potassium hydroxide mixture. Then flush the system about every 9 months. Pretty simple.
These kits are even environmentally safe. This is done with the hydrogen gas, which burns hotter than gasoline. It burns up the carbon deposit that is left from the un-burnt fuel. By doing this it not only increases mileage, but also carbon dioxide no longer flows out your tail pipes, instead it is replaced by Oxygen. This of course cleans the air. Now, you are not only putting money back in your pockets, but also you are cleaning our environment.
Amount Of Fuel Savings
So let us break down the savings you will get by installing a hydrogen generator. We will say the average person drives 12,000 miles a year at about 18 miles per gallon. He will use 666.7 gallons per year. At $5.00 a gallon would come to $3,333.00 a year. We will use a 35% increase in MPG after the generator was installed. This would be a 6.3 MPG increase. So they are now getting 24.3 MPG. It will now take them 493.8 gallons to go the same distant. At $5.00 a gallon it comes to $2469.00. This is a $864.00 saving in fuel, while also saving the environment.
Facts About Hydrogen Gas
Hydrogen is the lightest and most abundant chemical element. Hydrogen gas (known now as H2) was first produce in the 16 century by mixing metals with strong acids. Henry Cavendish was the first to recognize that hydrogen when burns produce water, which later was given the name water-former. Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless, non-metallic, tasteless, highly flammable gas. Since hydrogen is lighter than air if it catches fire it burns upwards and is easily extinguished. Hydrogen is rarely dangerous unless it is stored in large containers.
Hydrogen burns hotter than gas causing more of the carbon deposits to be burnt. This also helps keep your engine cleaner. It does not hurt your engine in anyway. With hydrogen being hotter than gas it burns up the carbon product left by un-burnt fuel. By using the hydrogen kit, instead of carbon dioxide coming out your tail pipe, it will be oxygen. So let us start putting money back in our pockets.
